Andrew is a cellist in the Des Moines Symphony and will be performing in this weekend’s Masterworks concerts. We are playing Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, and the fourth movement of this work involves the poem “Ode to Joy.” Concerts take place on Saturday May 11th at 7:30 PM, and Sunday May 11th at 2:30 PM at the Civic Center downtown.
