Library Director Search Update
A timeline for for the library director search has been established.
January 2-February 11 – The position will be posted and applications will be accepted.
March 5 & 6 – Semi-finalist interviews will be be conducted via Zoom with the Search Committee.
April 10 & 11 – Final interviews will be conducted in person at the library. The library board will conduct the interviews and staff will have the opportunity to greet the candidates.
End of April/Beginning of May – The library board will announce the next director.
June 2024 –The library director will begin work at JPL.
Building Updates – Peterson Painting will have a crew here on December 22 and December 27-29 working on drywall repair and painting. I will put in meeting room / study room reservations where possible. They are willing to work around the reservations we have already. The crew will be back the middle of January to finish up the painting. So there will be a few weeks where we will have patches of drywall with mud but no paint.
