It’s been a few years since we’ve done a Halloween costume swap and I think there may be renewed interest (from donors and recipients). The costume swap starts with a few weeks of receiving donations of gently used costumes. Each donor gets a coupon to trade for a costume on the first day of the swap. The second day of the swap is a free-for-all; anyone can get a costume. I know it’s getting late but I think there’s still time to pull it off. Before I look to volunteers, I’m wondering if any staff would like to help on the days of the swap: Saturday, October 13th and Sunday, October 14th. The work will include:
- helping patrons find costumes
- re-hanging, folding, arranging costumes
- maintaining order 🙂
The shifts are:
Saturday, October 13th: 9-1
Saturday, October 13th: 1-5:30
Sunday, October 14th: 1-5
Let me know if you’re interested by this weekend so we have time to round-up volunteers if needed.
