As a part of our community engagement efforts, the library will be visiting the Johnston Partnership each Saturday in June and July from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. while the food pantry is open. We will be handing out free children’s books, DVDs, STEM kits, demonstrating library resources such as the Launchpads or Learning Tools, reading with kids and signing kids up for the Summer Reading Program.
We hope it will be an opportunity to spread the word about library resources and offer access to free materials for those that might not have traditional access to the library due to barriers such as fines, fees, schedule conflicts or transportation.
