Beginning readers will now be color-coded according to reading level. You’ll see new books with a colored label under the spine label. Eventually, we’ll re-do all beginning readers to match this new system that will make it easier for parents to find books that match their child’s reading level.
The seven levels are:
Red – Reading concepts
Yellow – Level 1
Green – Level 2
Blue – Level 3
Purple – Level 4
Orange – Biographies
Pink – Nonfiction
