I received the following from the IRS:

Notice 1451 corrects an error found on the IRA Deduction Worksheet — Schedule 1, Line 19 in the 2020 Instructions for Forms 1040 and 1040-SR: Line 3 of the worksheet should read “Enter the amount from Form 1040 or 1040-SR, line 9.”

I have placed Notice 1451 into the Instruction booklets for Forms 1040 and 1040-SR that are currently at the Bouncer Station and on the counter at the Reference Desk. I have made copies of Notice 1451 and placed them in a manila envelope in the box with the 1040/1040-SR booklets.

Before placing 1040/1040-SR booklets out for the public, please make sure that a copy of Notice 1451 has been tucked into the booklet. Errata Sheet Forms 1040 and 1040SR

I only work from 9am – 1pm on Friday. Please make sure I have your time sheet by Noon at the latest. Thanks!

Weird week – didn’t look ahead. If it’s not possible for you to complete your time sheet by Thursday at noon, let me know and I’ll print a time sheet for you. Please make sure When to Work is correct and that will insure you get paid correctly. 🙂

I about fell over tonight when the cleaning supervisor told me that the new cleaning crew will clean the kitchen sink IF it is empty. If there are dishes in the sink, they will not clean it.

AND! They will clean out the microwave.

I think I’ve died and gone to heaven.

Remember this pay period includes holiday closures. Wednesday the 25th we closed early. Thursday and Friday, the 26th & 27th, we were closed. Make sure your time sheets reflect these closures. Thanks!

In this age of misinformation and disinformation, learning to evaluate media for not only ourselves, but more importantly our patrons is a valuable skill.
