DHS fax for Andrew this weekend
As some of you probably know, I have been receiving food assistance from the DHS since last April due to a huge decrease in pay from the symphony. Even though I am no longer working for WDM, I have to have their payroll department complete a statement of earnings form by Monday. After it’s faxed to the DHS, I asked them to fax it to 515-278-4975, or 515-278-2033 so I can have a copy for my records. When it’s received, please place it in my mailbox as it has the last four digits of my SSN.
Des Moines Symphony in May
My next symphony concert will be in May and will be virtual.

We are playing works by Gluck, Mozart, Faure, Grieg, William Grant Still, and Marianna Martines (with principal flutist James Blanchard).
Makeup removers
If any of you are in need of makeup removers, please let me know. I accidentally received some in a grocery order the other day when I didn’t order them.
WDM Library update
In case you haven’t heard, the WDM Library will be closed throughout March and some of April because we are finishing up the renovation and moving things to their permanent places. Curbside service will continue to be available from 4-7 Monday through Thursday, and from 10-2 on Saturdays. A lot of items in storage will be returning to the collection.

Should be beautiful music!
Video games
I had to re-shelve some video games this morning, and I was having trouble finding the dummy slip in the box behind the circ desk for one of them. I then looked in the patron area and found it. Please remember than when trapping a hold for a video game, look for the dummy slip in the video game area in the patron area. When you find it, look in the video game box behind the circ desk for the actual video game, and make sure that the barcodes match. When you find the actual video game, please place its dummy sleeve in the applicable box.
Please let Molly or Denise know if you have questions.

This is a link to information about the next symphony concert that I will be playing in.
Yes, it’s unfortunately true. I am only scheduled to perform in two concert sets during my tenth season with the orchestra. You can purchase online access right now, but I will send reminders along the way.
Today is Molly’s birthday
Please wish her a happy birthday if you see her today!
Holds on the holds table
When placing holds on the holds table, please make sure that they are in alphabetical order by the patron’s LAST name. I picked up two holds for myself this morning, and one of them was really out of order. I realize that there may be so many during one shift, but this will make it easier for the curbside people.
If you need to lay some down, please make sure that the hold slips are out far enough so the last names can be seen.
Keep up the good work!
I received a call from someone wanting to request items, and he mentioned that we are so friendly. Keep up the great work!
Chex Muddy Buddies
Please help yourself to Chex muddy buddies in the break room!
