Another staff member has tested positive for Covid-19. Starting tomorrow, the library building will be closed to the public. Patrons with browsing an PC appointments have been notified via email. We will continue curbside pickup of holds and printing. The following has been posted on Facebook.
Over the past few weeks, we’ve had staff members test positive for Covid-19; we’ve had others exposed; and cases of Covid-19 around the state and the Des Moines metro are higher than ever. We’ve decided to close the library building for a while. We will continue to offer curbside pickup of holds and printing and we will be available to help over the phone at 515-278-5233 and via email at notices@johnstonlibrary.com. We can’t wait to have a busy library again.
