Jeanne Hansen, staunch library supporter, passed away Monday. Jeanne was on the initial advisory committee that founded the Johnston Public Library. She continued as a member of the Board of Trustees, actively assisting with the bond issue and Capital Campaign that led to our present facility. She then continued on as a Library Friend and volunteer until just a few weeks ago when her failing health forced her “retirement”. Arrangements are pending.
